23. 3월23일 (수)  ‘예수를 반대하는 자들은 친구가 된다’  눅 23:1-12

본문 관찰과 묵상

     종교지도자들은 예수가 백성을 미혹하고 세금을 거부하고 자칭 유대인의 왕이라하여 사형집행권이 있는 빌라도 총독에게 고소하였다.  빌라도가 예수의 말을 듣고 죄가 없다고 말하였다.  예수가 갈릴리 사람임을 알고 분봉왕 헤롯에게 보냈다.  헤롯이 고발하는 자들의 말을 듣고 예수를 조롱하며다시 빌라도에게 보냈다.  평소에 원수처럼 지내던 두 사람이 예수를 죽이고자 하는데는 친구가 되었다. 

QT를 통하여 듣는 주님의 음성

     오늘도 예수님을 거부하는 자들은 예수를 믿는 그리스도인들을 핍박한다.  그리스도인을 핍박하는 사람들은 종교, 인종, 성별의 차이를 떠나 오늘도 친구가 된다.  마지막 때에는 악령의 세력은 연합하여 교회와 성도들을 핍박할 것이다. 

결단과 적용

     그러므로 예수를 믿는 가정과 교회와 성도들도 한 마음으로 연합하여야 한다.  우리는 아군끼리 싸워서는 않된다.  ‘우리의 씨름은 혈과 육을 상대하는 것이 아니요 통치자들과 권세들과 이 어둠의 세상 주관자들과 하늘에 있는 악의 영들을 상대함이라’(엡 6:12).  금식과 기도로 싸우리라!                

23. Mar 23 (Wed) QT. ‘Those who reject Jesus can be friends’ Lk.23:1-12

Observation and meditation on the text

     Religious leaders accused Jesus of three sins to the governor Pilate who got the power to judge criminals to put to death; subverting nation, refusal to pay tax to Caesar, and claim to be Messiah, king.   However, Pilate sentenced Jesus not guilty.  Knowing Jesus was a Galilean, he sent Jesus to the tetrarch Herod.   Hearing from the accusers, Herod ridiculed Jesus and sent him back to Pilate.  They were the enemies, but on that day, they became friends to kill Jesus. 

I hear the voice of the Lord through QT

     Those who reject Jesus also persecute Christians today.  They become friends to afflict Christians regardless of differences in religion, nationality, gender.  In the last days, the evil powers will be united to persecute churches and Christians.

Decisions and applications

     Therefore, Christian families, churches, and congregants must also be united.  We must not fight against one another.  ‘For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms’ (Eph. 6:12).  I will keep on fighting through fasting and prayers.
