"My One Wish", Luke 5:17~26 Rev. Joseph Chung Luke 5:17~26 Jul 21.2021
Luke 5:17~26[Jesus Forgives and Heals a Paralyzed Man]17. One day Jesus was teaching, and Pharisees and teachers of the law were sitting there. They had come from every village of Galilee and from Judea and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was with Jesus to heal the sick.18. Some men came carrying a paralyzed man on a mat and tried to take him into the house to lay him before Jesus.19. When they could not find a way to do this because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him on his mat through the tiles into the middle of the crowd, right in front of Jesus.20. When Jesus saw their faith, he said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.”21. The Pharisees and the teachers of the law began thinking to themselves, “Who is this fellow who speaks blasphemy? Who can forgive sins but God alone?”22. Jesus knew what they were thinking and asked, “Why are you thinking these things in your hearts?23. Which is easier: to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk’?24. But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So he said to the paralyzed man, “I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home.” 25. Immediately he stood up in front of them, took what he had been lying on and went home praising God.26. Everyone was amazed and gave praise to God. They were filled with awe and said, “We have seen remarkable things today.”

"Give Thanks for our Good Shepherd" Rev. Chung Yang Psalm 23 Nov 24.2019
Psalm 23[A psalm of David.]1. The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.2.     He makes me lie down in green pastures,he leads me beside quiet waters,3.     he refreshes my soul.He guides me along the right paths    for his name’s sake.4. Even though I walk    through the darkest valley,[a]I will fear no evil,    for you are with me;your rod and your staff,    they comfort me.5. You prepare a table before me    in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil;    my cup overflows.6. Surely your goodness and love will follow me    all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord    forever.

Then he went to her, and the LORD enabled her to conceive, and she gave birth to a son.14.  The women said to Naomi: "Praise be to the LORD, who this day has not left you without a kinsman-redeemer. May he become famous throughout Israel!15.  He will renew your life and sustain you in your old age. For your daughter-in-law, who loves you and who is better to you than seven sons, has given him birth."16.  Then Naomi took the child, laid him in her lap and cared for him.17.  The women living there said, "Naomi has a son." "Celebrate the Passover with all people" Rev. Joseph Chung Numbers 9:1~14 Jun 04.2017
Numbers 9:1~14[The Passover]1. The LORD spoke to Moses in the Desert of Sinai in the first month of the second year after they came out of Egypt. He said,2. "Have the Israelites celebrate the Passover at the appointed time.3. Celebrate it at the appointed time, at twilight on the fourteenth day of this month, in accordance with all its rules and regulations."4. So Moses told the Israelites to celebrate the Passover,5. and they did so in the Desert of Sinai at twilight on the fourteenth day of the first month. The Israelites did everything just as the LORD commanded Moses.6. But some of them could not celebrate the Passover on that day because they were ceremonially unclean on account of a dead body. So they came to Moses and Aaron that same day7. and said to Moses, "We have become unclean because of a dead body, but why should we be kept from presenting the LORD's offering with the other Israelites at the appointed time?"8. Moses answered them, "Wait until I find out what the LORD commands concerning you."9. Then the LORD said to Moses,10. "Tell the Israelites: `When any of you or your descendants are unclean because of a dead body or are away on a journey, they may still celebrate the LORD's Passover.11. They are to celebrate it on the fourteenth day of the second month at twilight. They are to eat the lamb, together with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.12. They must not leave any of it till morning or break any of its bones. When they celebrate the Passover, they must follow all the regulations.13. But if a man who is ceremonially clean and not on a journey fails to celebrate the Passover, that person must be cut off from his people because he did not present the LORD's offering at the appointed time. That man will bear the consequences of his sin.14. "`An alien living among you who wants to celebrate the LORD's Passover must do so in accordance with its rules and regulations. You must have the same regulations for the alien and the native-born.'"

"Love Always Protects" Rev. Joseph Chung 1Corinthians 13:1~8 May 07.2017
1Corinthians 13:1~81.  If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.2.  If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.3.  If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.4.  Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.5.  It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.6.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.7.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.8.  Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
