"Love Does Not Boast" Rev. Joseph Chung 1Corinthians 13:1~8 Mar 19.2017
1Corinthians 13:1~81. If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.2. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.3. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.4. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.5. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.6. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.7. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.8. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

"Out Of The Darkness" Rev. Joseph Chung 1John 1:5~7 Feb 05.2017
1John 1:5~75. This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.6. If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth.7. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, and they all drank from it.24. "This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many," he said to them.25. "I tell you the truth, I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it anew in the kingdom of God."26. When they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

Christmas - "A sign of the Christ" Rev. Joseph Chung Luke 2:8~21 Dec 25.2016
Luke 2:8~218. And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night.9. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified.10. But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.11. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.12. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."13. Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,14. "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests."15. When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, "Let's go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about."16. So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger.17. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child,18. and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them.19. But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart.20. The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.21. On the eighth day, when it was time to circumcise him, he was named Jesus, the name the angel had given him before he had been conceived.

"By Faith: The Conclusion" Rev. Joseph Chung Hebrews 11:32~40 Nov 27.2016
Hebrews 11:32~4032. And what more shall I say? I do not have time to tell about Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel and the prophets,33. who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions,34. quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies.35. Women received back their dead, raised to life again. Others were tortured and refused to be released, so that they might gain a better resurrection.36. Some faced jeers and flogging, while still others were chained and put in prison.37. They were stoned; they were sawed in two; they were put to death by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated --38. the world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains, and in caves and holes in the ground.39. These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised.40. God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect.
